I get it. I've been there. "Oh I need to find a good deck to try out but all the YouTube videos I see of it are from 8 months ago. Well then come on aboard, I have all of the games I play below, just take a deck profile and have fun building them!
My main card game on and off for the past 10 years. A game that has gone through multiple reboots, but still continues to innovate every time it does. The game now has 3 (technically 4) diverse formats to focus on. Overdress, VPremium, and Premium. I am a VPremium main and a Spikes Brother main inside of the format, so if you want to hear the discussions, thoughts, and deck articles of a man who plays the least liked clan in the game, come check it out, it's pretty fun.
Through my friend Xanitsu on Youtube, he got me to try Digimon together with him after Buddyfight sadly passed away, and I've really liked the deckbuilding and casual matches of Digimon. Competitive can get a bit too fast in recent meta's but seeing this deck you built become an engine, like an orchestra of your design, it's a beautiful thing. I may not talk about it as much as Vanguard, but there is a few decks coming up I do like, so I'll talk about them when I can.
I finally get it. After so many years, I finally get why people enjoy MTG so much. So much depth to each card, so much to consider, and the Commander System akin to games like Buddyfight where you build around them. I just started finally understanding Magic, but I would love to learn more. Though Commander is kind of a lie in a sense. It isn't a perfectly constructed 100 card deck of your true machinations, it's like 70 cards but then your 30 lands. Just something I noticed.
